Bauchi Study Centre holds virtual exams briefing


In preparation for the forthcoming 2021_1 Pen-On-Paper examination, Bauchi  Study Centre has held a virtual examination briefing  for the students of the centre.

The event, which was presided over by the centre director, Prof. Mohammed Bello Abdullahi, was designed to sensitise students on the code of conducts governing students of National Open University of Nigeria as well as rules and regulations guiding examinations administration in the university.

VC visits Lagos office, tours facilities


The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olufemi Peters on Friday visited the Lagos Office and had a quick tour of the facilities.

His visit was mainly to assess the condition of some of the buildings and offices so as to ensure structures are in proper condition for staff's efficient working condition.

The VC first visited the Lagos Library and some offices close to it that have not been in use for a while. 

He was accompanied by the Deputy Director of the Directorate of Physical Development, Works and Services, Mr. Smart Abulu and other staff of the office.

NAF centre students get orientation on modus operandi, others


The Special Study Centre for the Nigerian Air Force, Kaduna, has held its orientation programme for the newly matriculated  students of the centre.

The director of the centre, Prof. Nda Mundi, in his address explained that university orientation programme is an avenue to make students familiar and aquinted with the university, its programmes and  modes of operation.

Moreover, he said, the orientation programme created an avenue through which interactive sessions were held with the newly admitted students.

Fagge Community Centre holds maiden orientation for new students


The Fagge Community Study Centre (FCSC) of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Kano, has held its maiden orientation programme for the newly matriculated students of the centre.

NOUN News recalls that Fagge Community Study Centre was earlier this year commissioned by the immediate-past Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdalla Uba Adamu in Kano, alongside 15 other new centres.

PCN seeks establishment of special study centre for physically challenged


The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria (PCN), General Assembly has expressed its desire to delve into partnership with the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), in the areas of establishing a special study centre for the physically challenged, sponsoring of competitive prizes for excellence, advocacy programmes, among others.
