Butswat attends BUK’s combined convocation, meets ex NOUN VC

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, Prof. Isaac Sammani Rabo Butswat has attended the combined 36th and 37th Convocation Ceremony of the Bayero University, Kano, where he represented the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olufemi Peters at the occasion.

The DVC also met the former NOUN VC, Prof. Abdalla Uba Adamu, in his office at the Faculty of Communication, Bayero University Kano.

Butswat, shortly after his visit to the former VC, then embarked on a facility inspection at the Kano Study Centre, where the director, Mudassir Ahmad Ishaq, took him round the sections of the centre. 

He expressed his appreciation with the facilities on ground at the centre and equally showed his delight at the manner the centre is being operated under the leadership of its director. 

The DVC urged the director to keep up doing the good work and uphold the quality of management he has been leading at the centre. 

Moreover, he tasked all the centre staff to gear all their commitment and determination towards the success of the university. 

Butswat assured that the university will continue to provide all the centre's needs so as to ensure steady management of the affairs at the centre. 

Reacting to the visit, the acting director, Mr. Muddasir Ahmad Ishaq, expressed his appreciation with the management of the university for upgrading the centre's facilities. 

The director promised that the centre will continue doing its best to ensure more students enrollment. 

The director promised the university management total and absolute determination and commitments of all staff, which will continue to be geared towards uplifting the university to greater heights.
