The one-hour meeting, which started at 9:30am, solely focused on the establishment of zonal offices in Lagos.

The DVC, who chaired the meeting, made it known that the new development is in line with the Vice-Chancellor’s vision for the university.

It was an interactive session as staff were given room for suggestions on every point raised.

Issues discussed relating to the establishment of the offices were the structure, functionalities and nature of the proposed zonal offices.

However, discussions on the nature of the zonal offices were stepped down pending when the offices will be created.

He appreciated them for honouring the call despite the short notice, as it served as his first meeting with staff in Lagos since he assumed office.

The Registrar, Mr. Felix Edoka, McCarthy Study Centre Director, Prof. Rotimi Ogidan, Apapa Study Center Director, Dr. Ofe Inua, Lagos Study Center Director, Dr. Alero Akujobi, and Mushin Study Center Director, Dr. Yemisi Ogunlela as well as other assistant registrars were present at the meeting.
