Bappah bags Excellence Award

The director, Gombe Study Centre of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Dr. Adamu Bappah has been bestowed with an Excellence Award by the Faculty of Education, Federal University, Kashere, Gombe state.

The award was conferred on him during the 3rd National Annual conference of the Faculty of Education of the Federal University, Kashere, held on Wednesday,  28, November, 2023, at the Conference room of the university, in Kashere, Gombe State.

His selection, according to the organisers, is in recognition of his passion and  outstanding contributions in the field of education in Nigeria coupled with his selfless and humanitarian services to his community, state and the nation at large.

In his response, the director of the Gombe SC Dr. Adamu Bappah appreciated the faculty and the management of the university for felicitating and identifying with him.

The director noted that being nominated for the award was fulfilling, and the very act of awarding him made him emotional.

 He expressed his immense gratitude for the recognition and pointed out that the award has given him better reasons to do more and to serve more.

The nomination and the award have aligned the director flattered alongside dignitaries such as Hon. Yusuf Gagdi and HRH. Eng. Saleh Mohammed, Mai Kaltungo, whose giant strides in the development of education and humanity have set them apart as great Nigerian role model

Bappah promised to always cherish the award and to dedicate his time, resources, and energy to the best of his ability.
