The director, Learner Support Services (LSS), National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Prof. Gregory Okagbare, on Monday inspected some projects at the Ikom Community Study Centre of the university.
Okagbare, who, in his capacity as director, LSS, is in charge of all the 103 study centres across the country, was on a work visit to the second study centre of the university in the state of Cross River.
He inspected the partitioning of offices, perimeter fencing and the painting of the complex in NOUN official colour.
Other works executed at the study centre and inspected by the director were the Pen-on-Paper (PoP) and e-examination halls, and the course materials warehouse of the centre.
Besides the inspection of physical works at the centre, Okagbare also examined the personnel movement register of the centre and later had an interactive session with all members of staff.
The centre director, Dr. Edwin Bassey, who led his staff to receive Okagbare, expressed delight in welcoming him to the centre.
He later led the visitor on a facility tour of the whole complex.
