With profound sadness the death has been announced of Mr. Godfrey Ogbonna Chiemerem Onwubere.
The deceased was the beloved husband of Prof. Chidinma Onwubere, of the Department of Mass Communication at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
He died on Monday, March 18th, 2024.
Mr. Onwubere devoted many years to the Nigerian Security and Minting Company where he made significant contributions to its growth while impacting numerous lives through his professionalism and unwavering commitment to excellence leaving a positive mark in his field.
During this trying period, the university community comes together to celebrate and honour the life that Mr. Onwubere led - his kindness and generosity will forever remain in the hearts of his loved ones.
The funeral arrangements are as follows: Date: April 26th, 2024. Location: Emii Mbaima Owerri North LGA Imo State.
Meanwhile, Service of Songs will take place both in his residence in Ikorodu,Lagos and home town,Emii in Owerri on 13th and 25th April, respectively.
