The Director, Abeokuta Study Centre, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Dr. Olusegun Adeleke Oba-Adenuga has implored students in the centre to be good ambassadors in projecting the image of the university to the outside world.
Oba-Adenuga gave this advice in his office during a presentation of a Public Address System (PAS) to the university by the Ogun State Primary Health Care Development Board (OSPHCDB) through Messers Gbolahan Lawal and Sunday Ademuwagun.
The pair are 400-level students of the Department of Entrepreneurial Studies and Political Sciences, respectively, who represented NOUN at a meeting on mass Covid-19 vaccination in the state.
The presentation culminated a 1-day stakeholders meeting on mass Covid-19 vaccination, organised by OSPHCDB for all tertiary institutions in Ogun State in Abeokuta .
While responding to the presentation of the PAS to the centre and representation of NOUN at the stakeholders meeting by the duo, the director said “I appreciate and encourage them to continue in projecting the image of the university to the outside world.
“I advise other students to cultivate same culture and focus on the good things that they could do for the university rather than what they can get.’’
The meeting targeted strategies required to ramp up the Covid-19 mass vaccination exercise.
