As part of efforts to enhance cleanliness, improve environmental hygiene and maintain a healthy environment, the Faculty of Social Sciences, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), has embarked on a thorough sanitation exercise within the faculty and its environs.
The maiden exercise, held on 26 January, 2022 was aimed at inculcating the habit of hygiene and cleanliness among staff as well as rid the environment of all form of pests.
Led by the dean of the faculty, Dr. Moses Etila Shaibu, the exercise is billed to hold quarterly at the faculty, university headquarters, Abuja.
It was considered a successful exercise as the Deputy Registrar/Faculty Officer of the faculty, as well as all members of staff of the faculty actively participated in the launch edition.
