Petu deployed to Offa centre, as Musa stays put in Dutse

The Vice-Chancellor, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Prof. Olufemi Peters, has approved the appointment of Mr. Bola Petu as the Acting Director, Offa Community Centre, Kwara State.

In a memo dated February 28, 2022 and signed by the Director, Human Resources, Mr. John J. Ubaji, on behalf of the Registrar, it said Petu’s appointment was with immediate effect.

“As the Ag. Director, you are responsible to the Vice-Chancellor through the Director, Learner Support Services for day-to-day administration of the Study Centre.

’Please note that the office of the Study Centre Director is now a duty post. You are to report to the Director, Learner Support Services for briefing before you proceed,” the memo said.

Meanwhile, the management has reversed the posting of Dr. Aliyu Musa to Sokoto Study Centre, Sokoto State as the director.

In a memo dated  February 28, 2022 and signed by the Director, Human Resources, Mr. John J. Ubaji , on behalf of the Registrar, it said “I write  to inform you that your posting to Sokoto Study Centre, Sokoto State as the Director via our memo referenced NOUN/per/02281/VOL.1/and dated 21 February, 2022 is hereby reversed.’’

Consequently, you are to remain at Dutse Study Centre and carry on with your duties.
