Two former Vice-Chancellors of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Prof. Vincent Ado Tenebe and Prof. Abdalla Uba Adamu have on Tuesday appeared before the Presidential Visitation panel for presentation and assessment of their various roles while steering the university’s leadership in the past.
This is in line with the 7-man panel’s terms of reference that include examining the quality of the leadership of the university in terms of the roles of the Governing Board, the Vice-Chancellor and other Principle Officers, among others.
It would be recalled that the various visitation panels set up by the Hon. Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, were inaugurated a couple of weeks back, and the NOUN panel, headed by the former Head of Service of the Federation, Isa Bello Sali, has since hit the ground running, assuring of a credible report.
Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olufemi Peters and the duo, all seen in good moods, parleyed soon after the meeting was over.
