The Coordinator, South -east Conference Marking Zone, Prof. Uchenna Sydney Ajunwa Osuji, has described the completion of 2022_2 conference marking exercise as satisfactorily.

He stated this during a chat with NOUN News correspondent at Enugu Study Centre, Enugu State.

Osuji commended the examiners for their exceptional work and prompt submission of scripts within the stipulated timeframe.

The former Dean, Faculty of Education (FOE), stated that many examiners were unable to get scripts due to fewness of scripts given to the centre, adding that over the years the centre used to receive scripts within the neighborhood of 60,000 to 90,000 as opposed to 36,000 in this year.

Osuji, however, applauded the subject officers drawn from the eight facilities of the university for their dedication, cooperation and abilities to withstand pressures of the conference marking, even as no cases of lackadaisical attitudes were recorded.

He said there was few cases of exam malpractices identified by the examiners, through out the exercise.

Osuji sadly registered one causality of Prof. Godwin U. Nwanguwa, who collected scripts belonging to the Faculty of Management Sciences on Wednesday, 23th November, 2022 and died on 24th November, 2022.

Commenting on the centre director, Prof. Alexander Uche Onyia, Osuji hailed his doggedness and agility of handling the trio of conference marking, accreditation and on - going e - exam within the time.

He expressed satisfaction about the centre's staff for their commitment, adding that they were beck and call, which translated in a grand style success story of conference marking exercise in the zone.
