The Centre Overseer, Maiduguri Study Centre, Mrs. Lami Daniel, has handed over the mantle of leadership of the centre to Mr. Idris Garba who assumed office as new director.
Garba officially took over the centre on Monday, 24 January 2022.
While handing over to the new director, Daniel, who supervised the centre since the completion of the tenure of Dr. Mohammed Yahaya, assured to work with him as a team alongside the entire staff of the centre for the overall success of the university.
She said the entire staff will give their unwavering supports to move the centre to the greater height.
Daniel urged the staff of the centre to continue to be loyal , disciplined and ready to work with the new director.
She prayed for the success of the new director in discharging the university' s mandate by taking education to every single doorstep and to be free against any calamity considering the security challenges of the environment.
In his response, the new director, thanked and appreciated the warmth reception accorded him and commended the humility of the centre overseer.
Garba appealed to the staff of the centre to cooperate with him to achieve the desired result.
The new director was later taken round the offices and inspected facilities and structures at the centre.
