A high-powered delegation of the South-East Chapter, National Open University of Nigeria Alumni Association (NOUNAA) on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 paid a courtesy visit to Enugu Study Centre of the university.
NOUNAA's National President, Mr. Ifegwu Kingsley Obukwelu, who was represented by the Chairman, Enugu State Chapter of the body, Mr. Stanley Abugu, expressed satisfaction with the warm reception accorded to them by the centre and said the visit was to inform the centre about the composition of NOUNAA.
Abugu, while stating that the association has a keen interest in seeing the development of the centre, he also maintained that the team's visit was to seek areas the body can assist in moving the Enugu Centre forward.
He thanked the Centre Director, Prof. Charity Akuadi Okonkwo, for providing a befitting operational office to the association, adding that he was impressed with the harmonious working relationships existing among staff.
In her response, Okonkwo, commended the association's visit to the centre and said that “we are all working for humanity.”
She appealed to NOUNAA to join hands in the advocacy campaign by the institution and other areas of interest within their capacity so as to move the centre forward.
