Suleiman succeeds Abulu at DPDW&S, as Oyadeyi, Yau' redeployed

The Vice-Chancellor, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Prof.  Olufemi Peters, has approved the appointment of Arch. Haruna Suleiman as the Acting Director, Physical Development, Works and Services. 

In a memo dated February 22, 2022 and signed by the Director, Human Resources, Mr. John J. Ubaji, on behalf of the Registrar, it said Suleiman’s appointment is with effect from February 3, 2022, pending when a substantive director will be appointed through internal and external advertisement.

“As the Ag. Director, you are responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for day-to-day activities of the Directorate,” it stated.

Also, the Vice-Chancellor has approved the posting of Dr. Babajide Oyadeyi from Akure Study Centre to Oka-Akoko Community Study Centre, Ondo State as the director with immediate effect.

The posting, conveyed in a memo dated February 22, 2022 and signed by the Director, Human Resources,  Mr. John J. Ubaji on behalf of the Registrar, said Oyadeyi’s appointment is with immediate effect.

“As the Study Centre Director, you are responsible to the Vice-Chancellor through the Director, Learner Support Services for the day-to-day administration of your study centre.

‘’Please note that the office of the Study Centre Director is now a duty post. You are to report to the Director, Learner Support Services for briefing before you proceed,” the memo said.

Meanwhile, Mr. Abdullahi M. Yau has been posted to Dutse Study Centre, Dutse, Jigawa State as the Acting Director with immediate effect.

Until this latest development, Ya’u was the Director of Hadejia Community Study Centre in Jigawa State.

His posting was conveyed in a memo dated February 22, 2022 and signed by the Director, Human Resources, Mr. John J. Ubaji, on behalf of the Registrar.
